The course provides a broad overview of the following: The Transportation Security Administration, TSA, its purpose and history. Some examples of national and state security initiatives, an overview of security at commercial service and general aviation airports and recommended TSA guidelines for airport planning, design and construction projects.

Description
This course also provides an overview of aviation and airport security at the national, state and local levels. The national level will focus on the Transportation Security Administration. The State level will review what is offered in your home state. Finally, the course will provide the student with an overview of airport security at commercial service and general aviation airports.
