This course will review the variety of infrastructure that airports must maintain. In addition, the material will discuss the state of airport infrastructure on a national basis, the value of preventative maintenance over reactive maintenance, the State’s role in infrastructure maintenance and programs used to routinely evaluate the condition of airport infrastructure.

Description
This course will provide students an opportunity to gain awareness about the different types of infrastructure airports need to maintain, understand the primary participants in infrastructure maintenance and their roles and be knowledgeable about the tools state aeronautics may use to help with infrastructure maintenance at the project, airport, and system levels.
